Final Fantasy IX Tidbits
April 20th, 2000 - Just a few tidbits of information today that surfaced from
the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine, Jump!.

How the Prima Vista manages to stay airbourne with those propellors is beyond us...
|
Yesterday, we were treated to some screenshots of inside
the Prima Vista flying theatre, and today we're given a little information! As mentioned in
previous news updates, the Prima Vista is a floating theatre which stops by at towns once per year. Because the
shows that are put on for the local population are so popular, tickets are hard to get hold of. Royalty and the nobility
have special box seats, while the common townsfolk view shows from the roof.

Small Gameplay Detail
Details on Final Fantasy IX's game mechanicals are emerging - in the latest Jump! it explains that items equipped
on your character grant them their spells, as well as other non-magical special attacks.
Moogle's Return!
If you look closely at this screenshot, you'll notice three moogles helping out Eiko! Moogles make
a return to Final Fantasy IX... in their proper form!
Amano Artwork
Finally, in the magazine, a large Amano montage of all eight of the characters gives readers a little teaser...
